Package: libdrm2
Version: 2.4.94-1
Severity: normal
Dear Maintainer(s),
since update to version 2.4.93-1 the Hardware support in firefox is
broken. Calling for example https://get.webgl.org/ shows the text
"While your browser seems to support WebGL, it is disabled or
unavailable."
In the log file of xinit the following message appears:
libGL error: MESA-LOADER: failed to retrieve device information
libGL error: Version 4 or later of flush extension not found
libGL error: failed to load driver: i915
libGL error: MESA-LOADER: failed to retrieve device information
I'm not sure if this is the package to blame, maybe it's libdrm-intel1
or something else. Firefox is version 61.0.1-1, xorg-xserver is 2:1.20.1-1, mesa
is 18.1.7-1.
The Hardware is Intel graphics. glxinfo shows among others
direct rendering: Yes
server glx vendor string: SGI
server glx version string: 1.4
Vendor: Intel Open Source Technology Center (0x8086)
Device: Mesa DRI Intel(R) HD Graphics 630 (Kaby Lake GT2) (0x5912)
Version: 18.1.7
Accelerated: yes
Video memory: 3072MB
Unified memory: yes
Preferred profile: core (0x1)
Max core profile version: 4.5
Max compat profile version: 3.0
Max GLES1 profile version: 1.1
Max GLES[23] profile version: 3.2
Any idea?
Regards,
Jörg.
